The Third Meeting of the HELCOM Correspondence Group on Food webs (CG FOODWEB 3-2021) will be held online on 30 August 2021, 10-13 EEST. This Meeting will be an online Joint Event between CG FOODWEB and the HELCOM BLUES Project (Activity 2).
Based on the specific topics identified by CG FOODWEB 2-2021 (cf. Outcome, para 5.14), this Third Meeting will be focused on:
- The review of the existing HELCOM indicators and their components from a food web perspective;
- The update on progress for test cases of food web models;
- The development of the report to be submitted to STATE&CONSERVATION 15-2021.
In the long-term, CG FOODWEB aims to fill gaps in knowledge identified for the Third HELCOM Holistic Assessment of the Baltic Sea Environment (HOLAS III), and improve the future assessment and understanding of food webs in the Baltic Sea.
